The Old Brewery
Liz Lake Associates were appointed by Change Real Estate to prepare both the landscape design and TVIA for the Old Brewery redevelopment in Southville, Bristol. Located only a short walk from the city centre harbours side and major city attractions, the former brewery will be transformed into a modern commercial and residential development with new high rise apartments sitting alongside the historic brewery buildings.
This unique and complex project required a close working with the Architects, Nash Partnership, to develop proposals for the public and private realm with were sensitive to the historic setting whilst providing a modern, upmarket aesthetic. The design evolved around a series of courtyards spaces throughout the public and private realm, connected seamlessly through the use of shared streets and a cohesive palette of materials and planting.
