Hawkwell
Liz Lake Associates helped to gain planning permission for the 176 plot residential development scheme within the Green Belt at Hawkwell in Essex. Strong landscape and ecological strategies were developed from the outset working closely with the local community. The semi-rural character of the Green Belt site was retained through the detailed design proposals and including substantial boundary planting to minimise the visibility of the new development.
The scheme incorporates significant ecological enhancements through the creation of a generous new north/south aligned semi natural linear park in the centre of the Site with managed woodland, new Public Open Space and a Natural Play Area.
The scheme is currently under construction, with the first phase completed and the landscape establishing well. Liz Lake Associates continue to oversee the implemented landscape works as it develops.
