Barling
Liz Lake Associates are currently working on this contemporary private garden in Essex. Initially sketch designs were produced, these were then discussed and amended to produce a single proposal. The finalised design proposal incorporated a garden kitchen area, swimming pool, expansive lawn, sunken fire pit area and a small patio space to the side of the house.
The design included a mix of formal and cottage style planting, with the central area of the design being formalised with topiary, box hedges and cubed trees. Ornamental, flowering planting was then suggested along the boundaries and towards a small yoga studio at the end of the garden.
Following agreement on the design, detailed hard and soft landscape proposals were created to enable the project to be tendered.
