Earlier this year we were appointed to undertake a Scoping exercise for a site in North Devon to identify the potential constraints and opportunities with respect to landscape character and visual amenity. We also looked into the planning context for the site and its surroundings with reference to the emerging Local Plan. Following close liaison with the Planning consultant and the Client, we were then appointed to undertake a full Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment and outline landscape proposals for a residential development as part of a multidisciplinary team. Our continued involvement in the site, has given LLA a well-established understanding of the site and its challenges, ensuring our proposals are sympathetic to the local neighbourhood and landscape setting.
