Community spaces provide access to specifically designed landscapes for the public. These are often spaces that are associated with existing buildings that are used by the public, for example a park, cemetery or garden associated with a church or war memorial. Sometimes the buildings are used for public services such as crematorium or medical centres and these often have spaces associated with them which can be improved with careful landscape design so that they are of most benefit to the social groups that use them.
