Landscape Planning

Landscape planning is concerned with the location, scenic, ecological and recreational aspects of urban, rural and coastal land use. It is usually an integral part of the planning system for small and large-scale projects which are implemented over a long period of time.

Because we have gained considerable experience of the planning process, we have the skills to prepare reports to accompany planning applications, for submissions at an appeal or as part of the development plan framework process. These are reports on the landscape, visual or ecological impact with proposals for mitigation. We are also able to prepare Design and Access Statements now required for all planning applications.
