Brief
Located in a prominent position in Drayton near Norwich, this former Hospital is to be developed into a state-of-the-art church for a rapidly growing local congregation. Liz Lake Associates was asked to develop a landscape master plan and concept sketches in association with Fielden & Mawson.

Approach
The landscape strategy was to retain the openness of the site to the south and enhance with spring flowering tree-lined avenues, which in turn help to sit the building within the surrounding landscape. Existing trees are to be retained where possible and the natural topography of the site is to be utilised to create natural water bodies, which further enhance the setting of this unique building design.

Outcome
The proposals formed part of a submission by Fielden & Mawson that is currently under consideration.
