Brief
LiZLaKe, in association with QuBE Planning, was appointed by East Cambridgeshire District Council to undertake a review of the parts of the Cambridge Green Belt that fall within its district. The study area’s proximity to the City of Cambridge, combined with good access to the national road and rail network, has encouraged the rapid growth of both housing and employment in the district. The review was undertaken in relation to Green Belt policy and the emerging pressures for growth in the Cambridge sub-region.
