Brief
With a vision to enlarge and upgrade this existing stud farm, the owner invited us to form part of a multi-disciplinary design team to see the scheme through from the initial planning application and detailed design to implementation. A landscape management scheme was also requested.
Approach
This extensive project included returning 250 hectares of former arable land to pasture, laid out as paddocks, and the planting of some 30 hectares of woodland shelter belts, 11 kilometres of native hedging plus the creation of tree-lined roads.
