Hotel & Leisure

In our hotel and leisure projects we often work with multi-disciplinary design teams composed of architects, planners and engineers. The schemes involve major proposals for new and improved hotel and conference facilities, existing and new golf course developments and numerous important areas of public open space. We also act as project manager for less complex proposals.

In approaching hotel projects, we believe that the external spaces are as important as the hotel interior in creating an enjoyable experience for visitors. For the guest, the hotel is set in a recreational landscape and a good first impression is vital. Views from both private rooms and public areas should be of the highest quality and there should be opportunities for walking and relaxing in well-designed, sheltered outdoor spaces. The back of house needs to function practically without disturbing guests and the landscape areas should be capable of being maintained discretely and safely.
