An urban designer and landscape architect, Matt is a senior associate and leader of the practice’s award-winning residential development landscape design team. Together with his urban design skills, he brings a thorough technical and practical knowledge to his design work with a horticulture degree, and considerable experience in hard landscape construction including water features and landscape lighting.
Matt’s previous work includes three years with David Bellamy’s environmental consultancy and three years with a practice in Jersey where he was responsible for the design and implementation on site of a number of high-quality projects with a maritime and tourist bias. Matt’s specialism is in preparing urban-design and landscape strategy frameworks for new residential and mixed-use development and designing people-friendly open spaces, many of which have won awards.
