Liz Lake

Recognised for her inspiring and creative work, Liz Lake has completed a huge variety of projects, large and small, for the public and private sectors. She has established her reputation over more than three decades. Her particular interests include landscape planning, landscape and visual impact assessment and historic landscapes. Liz also acts as an expert witness and project manager.
Liz is a chartered landscape architect and Fellow of the Landscape Institute. She has been chair of the East Anglian branch of the Landscape Institute and was author of the Landscape Institute Guidance Note for Promoters of Landscape Competitions. She is chair of the Landscape Design Trust, an advisor to the recently accredited, post-graduate Landscape Architecture course at Writtle and was a judge for Cambridge City Council for projects in the public realm. Liz regularly gives lectures and writes articles for Green Places and Landscape, the journal of the Landscape Institute.
