Having acquired considerable experience in contract administration, we relish the opportunity to guide projects through from initial conception to successful implementation. Drawing on our knowledge of this complex process, once a landscape scheme has been agreed and planning permission granted, we can set to work preparing a step-by-step plan, agreeing budgets, drawing up detailed designs and organising implementation.
We have particular expertise in preparing landscape contracts, including Bills of Quantity, either as stand-alone JCLI (Joint Council for Landscape Industries) contracts or as a subcontract of an architectural or engineering project. We can advise clients on how to select contractors for tenders, and can oversee the tender process.
Once the contract has been awarded, our role as contract administrator is to ensure that the work is completed to the standard required, on time and to budget. We can also monitor contractors’ maintenance work for up to five years to ensure the successful establishment of planting.
