Historic Landscapes

LiZLaKe has worked on almost fifty historic landscape schemes. These have ranged from pure restoration projects for public authorities to Inheritance Tax Exemption schemes and agri-environment projects for private owners. We have also completed the integration of new development in historic parks. All require archival research, a thorough assessment of the features that remain on the ground, an evaluation of significance and strategies for prioritising the clearance of inappropriate features, the rebuilding of structures, new planting and appropriate management of the historic landscape.
