Capital Square Fountain Courtyard

Capital Square is a mixed-use, new-build development of luxury apartments, retail units, and a children’s day nursery. By Barratt Eastern Counties, the scheme is built around two landscaped courtyards which incorporate soft-jet pavement fountains, water channels, a shallow stream for playing, granite setts and Arboresin paving. The development won the Four Star Best UK Architecture Awards as part of the Daily Mail UK Property Awards 2005; the Fountain Courtyard won the Silver Gilt Award for Best Landscaped Urban Development as part of the Daily Express New Homes and Gardens Awards 2006 and also won the BALI Award for Mainly Hard Landscaping – construction cost over £50,000.
